It was one of those end-of-the-year kind of days in the interior Pacific Northwest (the — usually — dry side of the Cascade range). The snow had just stopped and the sun was trying to break through the heavy overcast but all it managed to do was speed up the melting process and form layers of mist that swallowed up a big part of the scene. Not the best photography conditions but I liked the atmospherics, so… why not give it a try?into_the_mist_12-31
