Meet USS Blueback: retired war vessel, movie star (featured in “The Hunt for Red October”), and named after a kind of rainbow or steelhead trout found only in Lake Crescent on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. (The fish lives in deep water and is bluish black along its upper sides and whitish underneath. Hence: “Blueback”)

Curently residing in Portland Oregon, on the Willamette river, under the Marquam bridge, and is an OMSI exhibit.
