Another Snowy View

From our snow day in February: A view of Round Lake in Camas, Washington (my home town).  The cool air seemed to so enhance the brightness and clarity of that day…

Just add H2O (in its solid phase)

This post is about …water, mostly.
The East end of Lacamas Lake, in Camas, Washington (my neck of the woods) is a familiar scene, yet, it never ceases to impress. Water seems to appeal to something in us, especially when it looks clean, calm and mirror-like.
Water in the forest, or at least surrounded by trees, [...]

That Yellowstone bear, again

I know, this isn’t the most… photogenic angle but being alone in the forest at the time, I appreciated the fact that I was looking at this end of the bear… To quote Baloo in Disney’s Jungle Book: “Are you kidding? There’s teeth in the other end!”
