Marsh Troubadour

Swinging Single

Marsh Troubadour, in Red Winged Blackbirds; Wildlife by John Christopher

A Red Winged Blackbird singing his Spring song while holding on to a cattail as if it were some type of accompanying instrument. This is all part of the nesting ritual that takes place in the Marshes of the Pacific Northwest each Spring.
